Mixer setup basics for QuickLoops Pro

Set up QuickLoops Pro with your mixer, choose the right audio route, and confirm everything is ready before your first loop.

QuickLoops Pro works best when your audio route is clear before you start capturing loops. Use this guide to get your mixer connected, confirm audio, and add MIDI control once the basics are working.

Before you start

  • Use iOS 17+ on iPhone or iPad, or macOS 13+ on Mac.
  • On iPhone and iPad, connect to your DJ mixer with USB.
  • For iOS compatibility, your mixer needs a USB class-compliant audio interface.
  • Pioneer DJM-S11 and DJM-S7 are supported.
  • Pioneer DJM-S9 is supported on macOS only.

Setup sequence

  1. Open QuickLoops Pro Settings.
  2. Select your audio input and output devices.
  3. Confirm you can hear clean audio from your mixer.
  4. Capture and play back a short loop on one deck.
  5. If you are on iPhone or iPad, confirm your USB mixer route before using two-deck playback.
  6. Add MIDI mapping after the audio path is stable.

If something does not work

  • If there is no input, check OS audio permissions and reconnect your mixer.
  • If playback clicks or pops, increase the buffer size and close other audio apps.
  • If MIDI does not respond, confirm the controller appears in MIDI settings and run MIDI Learn again.
  • If a saved profile warns you, reconnect the same devices or save a new profile for the current setup.
