From plug-in to first loop.

A clear first-session path for mixer connection, audio routing, monitoring, and MIDI Learn — on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Your first session, step by step.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select your audio input and output devices.
  3. Choose a buffer size that keeps playback stable.
  4. Configure per-deck routing if needed.
  5. Enable Monitor when you want to hear live input while you play.
  6. On iPhone and iPad, connect to your DJ mixer with USB.

iOS mixer note

On iPhone and iPad, connect QuickLoops Pro to your DJ mixer with USB. For iOS compatibility, the mixer needs a USB class-compliant audio interface.

Recommended starting point Start with your mixer connected, confirm input and output in Settings, then add MIDI mapping once the audio path is stable.

If something is off, start here.

Quick checks for common first-session setup questions.

No audio input

Check the selected input device, allow microphone or audio permissions, and reconnect your mixer or audio device if needed.

Pops or clicks

Increase the buffer size, close other audio apps, and try again. Larger buffers can help busy devices keep playback clean.

MIDI is not responding

Confirm the controller appears in MIDI settings, then use MIDI Learn again for the control you want to map.

Profile recall warnings

Reconnect the saved device, confirm your current audio route, and save a new profile if your setup has changed.
