Loop capture and mixer routing: where QuickLoops Pro fits

Understand how QuickLoops Pro connects to your mixer, why routing matters, and how to start with a stable audio path.

QuickLoops Pro captures audio from your DJ setup and gives you playable loops you can bring back into the mix. A clear audio route makes that feel immediate and dependable.

Why routing matters for vinyl DJs

  • The app needs to receive clean audio from the deck or mixer channel you want to capture.
  • Output routing determines where your loops return in the mix.
  • A stable route makes timing, loop length, MIDI pads, and FX easier to trust.
  1. Connect your mixer or audio interface.
  2. Select the input and output devices in Settings.
  3. Test capture and playback with one deck.
  4. Set your monitoring preference.
  5. Add MIDI mapping for pads, transport, mode, speed, or FX send.

On iPhone and iPad

Connect to your DJ mixer with USB. For iOS compatibility, the mixer needs a USB class-compliant audio interface. Many modern DJ mixers include this, but it is worth checking your mixer specs before a set.

Best practice

Start simple. Confirm clean capture and playback first, then add controller mapping and more advanced performance controls once the audio path feels solid.
